Techvenation Google Maps Extractor interface and business data workflow

Techvenation Google Maps Extractor helps authorized users turn public Google Maps business listings into a structured research file without manually copying every listing. Run it from a Google Maps search, choose the fields and filters you need, pause or resume the job, and export unique results to CSV.

The extension is designed for legitimate market research, directory maintenance, supplier discovery and business-development preparation. Results remain in local Chrome storage unless you choose to export them. Optional email and company-description enrichment asks for additional website access only when enabled.

HELP

Frequently asked questions

Is this a Chrome extension or a WordPress plugin?

The extractor is a Chrome extension. The Techvenation AI & IT Tools WordPress plugin publishes its download page, instructions, SEO content and related blog; it does not run the extractor on the website.

Does it send extracted data to Techvenation?

No. The job and rows stay in local Chrome extension storage, and CSV generation happens in the browser. Optional enrichment connects directly to public websites linked by listings.

Why does Chrome request access to websites?

Broad website access is optional and requested only when Email or Company description enrichment is enabled. Disable those options to use Google Maps-only extraction without that permission.

Can the extension remove duplicate businesses?

Yes. Version 1.5.0 compares place IDs, normalized names, phone numbers, addresses and coordinates, then merges useful fields from matching rows. CSV export performs another duplicate check.

Why are some fields empty?

Google Maps and business websites do not publish every field for every listing. Websites can also block requests or render information with scripts, so no extractor can guarantee every value.

Can I use the exported file for marketing?

Only when your use complies with platform terms and all applicable privacy, advertising and communications requirements. Verify lawful basis, honor opt-outs and do not send unlawful unsolicited bulk messages.

Is this extension affiliated with Google?

No. Techvenation GMaps Extractor is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google. Google Maps and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC.
